This beautiful dan bau is made from well-respected Vietnamese instrument maker Ta Tham of Hanoi. The soundboard and backboard are both made of paulownia Ngo Dong. The frame is made of the beautiful Vietnamese rosewood. Please look at the nice grain of the wood. The instrument itself is a piece of beautiful Vietnamese art.

This dan bau is a concert quality instrument with a built-in electric pick-up with a volume knob. All you need to do is plug in an amplifier and play!
