I like using the adjustable tsume sometimes more than traditional bands because my fingers can swell up and make the traditional bands uncomfortable. Or sometimes the opposite happens and then traditional bands are too loose. So these work great. They can feel stiffer, but will break in with use (like a new pair of shoes, lol). I like the thickness of the plastic pick itself. Highly recommend.
I like using traditional tsume bands, but sometimes my fingers may swell and the bands get uncomfortably tight. Or sometimes the opposite happens and then the bands slip off. The adjustables can always be adjusted to my fingers all the time. So they feel secure. The tsume themselves (the plastic) isn’t as thick as ivory, but they work well. Highly recommend.
I found no issue with the plastic plectrum which were very smooth, well-shaped, and solid, but even the small size band was challenging to tighten enough to fit my fingers. When I tried to make one smaller, the metal ring the Velcro feeds through snapped in half. I was able to make it usable with a some strong thread and a large sewing needle, but I doubt it will last well. I also had to trim off some of the Velcro that stuck out after it was properly sized. I do not intend to buy this brand of tsume again.
The adjustable bands are great. They are more comfortable than the real ivory picks
