This is a collection-grade Qinling Guzheng from the "Ruyi" series. The guzheng is equipped with concert quality Dunhuang B strings and custom-made aged Thai rosewood bridges.
The sound of this instrument is mellow-sweet and warm with a balanced range. The bass is full, the high notes are sweet, and the mid-range is clean and solid.

Qinling Guzheng was founded by one of the most skillful makers from the Scarlet Bird Zhuque Factory, who has been making Scarlet Bird guzhengs for 40 years.
With limited production, all Qinling guzhengs are handmade with meticulous attention to detail in both sound and craftsmanship. They were one of the highlights at the Shanghai Music Show.
The body board, made from a paulownia (pao-tong) tree that naturally grows in Henan Province, is artificially hollowed out in the middle, greatly improving the instrument's sound quality. In other words, it takes almost the whole tree to make a single guzheng. The sound of the Qinling "Ruyi" series is rich and ancient, with a mellow-sweet tone.
This model is custom-made for Sound of China. All the bridges and strings are fine-tuned and adjusted to ensure the best sound quality.
